What's Our Purpose?

We asked ourselves, what would the President of the United States say, if all the best ideas were stated as U.S. action, U.S. direction, and U.S. policy? What would happen if the President re-directed our nation towards all that we hold dearest?

It seemed to us that the State of the Union Address in 2008 was when that incredible moment should happen – so that everyone could know those principles for which we think Americans really stand.

We developed the State of the Union Address 2008 for one simple reason: we need a clear articulation of America’s place in the world, now.

The greatest ideas, together, showing a complete fabric of what is most important now.

We think the President of the United States of America must articulate these ideas.

We need this clear vision to shine with the highest ideals of our Founder’s dreams, from the Declaration of Independence, to the Constitution of the United States of America, to the visions of leaders like Dwight D. Eisenhower and Martin Luther King, Jr.

These leaders understood the global importance and global responsibilities of our nation.

The world needs America to lead – by example. The “American Dream” still shines as a beacon of possibility around the world. Our strength of purpose can still move mountains – and build once more that reputation for Justice and Freedom that has inspired for two centuries.

In 2008, American leadership for the benefit of all humanity is essential. We believe that a renewal of world trust in our nation can lead to miracles benefiting America – and benefiting all humanity.

Our nation has the potential for enormous good, and America will benefit from a world that moves towards the prosperity and sustainability of all humanity.

This American legacy began in Philadelphia, and we believe it can be re-born in Philadelphia.
